Here are samples of the original Jumbotron which was retired on March 23, 2000. Because the Jumbotron proved to be so popular, we
created banner ads based on the days content. Artists had the ability to select animated backgrounds and text themes to match their artwork. The database supplied the necessary cover art, title descriptions and "factomatic" content. At 12:00am Generator would kick in and pull from the database to assemble the next day's Jumbotron, and at 12:07 an email was sent out confirming Generator had completed its job. We were able to efficiently produce over 50 unique pieces of interactive artwork in about 7 minutes. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
