TAM (acronym in Spanish for Tierra Aero Mar - Land Air and Sea) is a very techy Costa
Rican travel company, and Costa Rica is a pretty advanced
Latin American country. We weren't surprised when TAM told us
it was time for a web site.
Up until this point, we had a tough time just getting clients to
understand what the Internet was - let alone spend money on it - especially when they had never seen it. The site was built before their CD-ROM, and they didn't have a whole lot of content. They were looking for a web presence with basic contact information. We built an intro to the site, a linear story to guide users into TAM. Once inside, we presented them with links to basic info and descriptions of the different regions of Costa Rica. There was also a page for contacting each department within TAM.
